Matt Smith is the Co-Founder of Speak2, a technology company focused on improving the lives of seniors living in assisted living and independent living communities.

 

Originally inspired by helping his own mother stay connected as technology evolved, Matt turned a personal challenge into a business that provides a digital marketplace where residents can easily access services, activities, communication tools, transportation, dining, maintenance requests, and family updates through TVs, tablets, Alexa, and other accessible devices.

Matt believes aging shouldn't mean losing independence or becoming disconnected from everyday life.

 

His mission is to help senior living communities transition from a real estate mindset to a hospitality and service-focused experience, giving residents the same choices and convenience they had before moving into care.

 

He is also a strong advocate for ethical technology, emphasizing that AI should solve meaningful problems rather than create unnecessary convenience.

 

Through Speak2, Matt hopes technology becomes a standard part of senior living, making communities more connected, engaging, and empowering for residents, families, and caregivers alike.
